Celebrating Traveller Music

Short documentary piece about the Celebration of Traveller Music gigs organised by Poster Fish Promotions and Blanchardstown Traveller Development Group. The piece was recorded at the 4th such gig in the Cobblestone pub in Dublin on 10 Dec 2015 and looks at the importnace of celebrating Traveller music. The gig was a fundraiser for the families affected by the tragic halting site fire in Carrickmines.

Trish Nolan live at A Celebration of Traveller Music organised by Poster Fish Promotions and Blanchardstown Traveller Development Group on 10 Dec 2015 in The Cobblestone, Smithfield, Dublin in aid of the families who lost 10 loved ones in the tragic halting site fire in Carrickmines. Trish, playing guitar and harmonica, performs Caledonia, Carolina in my Mind and, her own song, Stay Away Morning. Her rich vocals are captivating and her blues influences evident, as are her excellent song writing capabilities.
