Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to limit the right of a Plan member to engage independent counsel at its own expense. TotalLegal is not obliged to pay for such a service.

Media. In the case of extended legal support, a lawyer for the service provider may request an advance from the participant. Each advance requested is calculated by multiplying the number of hours taken by the claimant`s lawyer for a file by the claimant`s reduced hourly rate. The benefits of the service provider are provided directly to you and not through TotalLegal and require a separate agreement between the service provider or the service provider`s lawyer and you. SERVICE PROVIDER BENEFITS ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO CORE MEMBERS WHO ARE CURRENTLY ONLY ENROLLED IN THE SEVEN-DAY FREE TRIAL PLAN. If you purchased your ticket through an online travel agency (or other travel agency), you must contact the travel agent directly for a refund before contacting the airline. However, these agents are free to use the same or similar procedures to provide equivalent or similar customer service. If a refund is due to a passenger, an airline, travel agent or online travel agency must process it within seven business days if the passenger paid by credit card and within 20 business days if the passenger paid in cash or cheque. You must pay all fees listed at the time of your first purchase of the plan. Except as otherwise provided herein, (i) fees are quoted and payable in U.S. dollars, (ii) fees are based on the Services purchased and not actual usage, and (iii) payment obligations are non-voidable and fees paid are non-refundable. You will provide TotalLegal with valid and up-to-date credit card information. Customers who opt for an annual subscription have the option to choose whether the credit card associated with the account is automatically charged monthly or annually. The credit card associated with your account will be charged on the day of purchase of the plan and at the time of renewal monthly or annually on the anniversary day of each renewal period. If you provide credit card information to TotalLegal, you authorize TotalLegal to charge that credit card for the Plan for the initial Plan Term and all Renewal Terms. You are responsible for maintaining complete and accurate billing and contact information associated with your account.
