The HöhenFresser-Tour in Zell am Ziller is Austria`s longest descent from the summit into the valley – with 1,930 metres (6332 ft) of elevation in one piece. This track offers pure fun and excitement with just one race. The descent into the Zell am Ziller valley is the track with the highest vertical drop in Austria and therefore bears its name “Höhenfresser”. The new valley slope offers all visitors starting in Zell am Ziller the great advantage of skiing or snowboarding directly in the valley. If you start at the highest peak in the arena — the Transition Pass at 8202 feet (2,500 meters) — you`ll cover 2,000 meters (6561.6 feet) of elevation gain and about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) into the valley. In Königsleiten, you should take a break in the mountain restaurant Larmachalm and relax on the large sun terrace. From the other mountain restaurant Gipfeltreffen you have a unique view of the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Zillertal Alps. To get an overview of the ski resort, it is advisable to take the ArenaTour. He will guide you through the four areas of the resort. Ride at high speed and with breaks not included, this tour should last about five hours. The longest track in the Zillertal Arena is No. 1+2+4 in the Gerlos area. The race is nine kilometers (5.6 miles) long and has an elevation gain of 955 meters (3133.2 feet). Families are better cared for in the Krimml-Hochkrimml region.

In the Wald-Königsleiten region you will also find a descent to the village as well as a breathtaking panoramic view of the Zillertal and the Pinzgau Alps.
